Keyose, Web 2.0 and health, interesting combination

keyose

In Spain we still don’t experience it, but in USA the subject of medical information and health on the internet is a real boom. Perhaps the Spanish medical care system is structured in a way that people here don’t worry so much about informing themselves about health issues on the internet, but I think that a day will come when these topics will become a rage.

One of the first Web 2.0 projects in Spain in this area is Keyose, a site that offers access to medical data in time, place and from any place where there’s an internet connection.

We will have to see how users accept this kind of services on the internet in which the issue of privacy is vital, but it’s true that each day more and more web surfers are trusting online applications for all kinds of subjects, from personal relations to economic issues and who knows, maybe also with medical issues.

Keyose is an initiative of Recrea, the creators of Endeve.

Sugiere.net, new project sponsored by Fivelab

sugiere.net

Yesterday we talked of Gotoandroid, a project of Fernando del Pozo and today I came to know that he has come out with another project. Two in the same week is a record for the hispanic Web 2.0 :)

On this occasion, Fernando has associated with Matías Piuma and the team of Fivelab to start a project which is very 2.0 as it consists of users making suggestions to other users, companies and institutions.

It’s called Sugiere.net, a big suggestion box where users can make their suggestions hoping for an improvement on part of the person/entity that receives the suggestion. For example, here’s a suggestion for Blackberry and here’s one for Loogic.

Note that one of the most interesting things about this site is that each subject of suggestion appears with a subdomain, as in the case of movistar.sugiere.net. Can you imagine if this page achieves a good positioning for a search of this brand in Google, what it could mean for the communication between the company and its clients?

Sugiere.net is a project with a great potential. I hope that its founders are able to manage it well so we can see how the influence of the web 2.0 can have important effects on brands and companies.
